Our Founder
Brian Waiswa
Kiirya Brian Waiswa is the Founder and Executive Director of AC-Foundation, a community-driven non-governmental organization committed to improving the lives of vulnerable children and families in rural Uganda. Having lost his parents at the age three to HIV/AIDS and raised by his old grandmother in a tent house, our founder Brian deeply knows what an Orphan faces. Hence giving the rise to AGAPE CHILDREN FOUNDATION.
With a strong background in community development, education advocacy, and child protection, Brian established AC-Foundation to address systemic challenges such as limited access to quality education, poor menstrual hygiene management, child neglect, and household poverty. Under his leadership, the organization has implemented programs focused on education support, safeguarding and child protection, menstrual health, nutrition, and sustainable livelihoods.
Brian is known for his values-based leadership, accountability, and commitment to inclusive development. He believes in empowering communities to become self-reliant while protecting the dignity and rights of every child. Through strategic partnerships, donor engagement, and grassroots action, he continues to lead AC-Foundation with integrity, compassion, and a long-term vision for sustainable impact.
